Swan Valley artist, Jan Zeck, creates a distinctive and beautiful range of affordable pewter jewellery under the Swan Valley Studios label.
Each design is based on indigenous flora from Western Australia and makes a uniquely local gift. Detailing of the brooches is immaculate and achieved by working with a local manufacturer to expertly cast the pewter. The result is an exquisitely rendered product, light yet robust.
Sizes of brooches are indicated with images. Each brooch weighs less than 20 grams.
Brooches are supplied mounted on card with details regarding design and manufacture and enclosed in a transparent envelope. This keeps them clean and protected, especially for freighting. Arrangements can be made to supply brooches in presentation boxes or pouches if required.
Every year a few new designs are added to the range. Swan Valley Studio Pewter Brooches can be purchased through outlets near you or by contacting Jan.
Bespoke Jewellery and Corporate Gifts
Bespoke brooches and other jewellery can be designed and supplied for special events and corporate gifts at very moderate prices. In 2012, Jan was commissioned to design the commemorative brooch for The University of Western Australia’s 2013 Centenary celebration. The design is based on the Hakea laurina, the logo chosen by the university for this celebration. A special card was also designed to accompany the Centenary brooch.
